Apr. 30. 2017 (GLENS FALLS, NY) –
During a spring trip through upstate New York, the Carleton Ravens Baseball team found time to reinstate their annual team awards dinner. The trophies had not been given out since the 2008 season. When the box of trophies was brought to the attention of team President George Rigakos he insisted that they be handed out to celebrate the achievements of the team’s stand-out players and leaders.
The trophies were in a state of disrepair and some work went into bringing them back to life.
“It’s an important little piece of history” said Rigakos “that needs to be respected”.
