If you are interested in attending Carleton University and playing baseball for the Ravens we strongly recommend you contact us at the beginning of your senior year of high school or even sooner. Ravens staff also attend university and college showcases and hold Winter evaluation invites. Contact us directly for more details by filling out the recruit form on this page.

For non-rostered players, the Carleton University Ravens Baseball Club normally holds open try-outs for prospective players in late August and last chance “walk-on” try-outs in the first week of September.

2025 Try-outs
Any rostered, returning or new students wishing to try out for the 2025 Carleton University team must:

– Be registered as a FT student at Carleton University;
– Sign a try-out waiver supplied at the field;
– Complete the registration form (on this page).

Field Location: BREWER PARK

Evaluations in 2025 will be held in four sessions:

Sat. Aug 23rd
6:00-8:00 PM

Sun. Aug 24th
12:00-2:00 PM

Thu. Aug 28th
6:00-8:00PM

Tue. Sep 9th
6:00-8:00PM LAST CHANCE

Preseason games and annual Labour Day weekend tournament (Aug. 30-31- Sep. 1) will also be returning in 2025 so recruits and rostered players should plan to make themselves available.

All players are welcome to attend but MUST register.
