OTTAWA (Oct.14.2016) –
After dropping two close one-run games to McGill (5-4 and 7-6) last weekend the Carleton Ravens will have to settle for third in the Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association Northern Division and a three-game series against the Concordia Stingers.
The Ravens and the Stingers split their four games 2-2 during the regular season with each team taking both of their two home games. The Carleton Ravens will have to reverse that trend if they are to prevail against Concordia as they get set to visit Montreal for the start of the first round this weekend.
The other CCBA match-ups have also been announced.
In the other Northern Division match-up, first-place McGill (15-1) will take on fourth seed Université de Montréal (5-11).
Over in the Atlantic Division, first-place Holland College (12-1) will take on fourth place St, Mary’s (8-8) while second place University of New Brunswick (13-3) meets Acadia University (8-5).
