OTTAWA (Oct.18.2017) –
The Carleton Ravens baseball team boarded the bus this morning for a ten-hour trip to the 2017 UBaseball National Championships. The Ravens qualified on the back of two straight wins over Concordia before falling to perennial powerhouse McGill in the conference final. Concordia went on to defeat the University of Ottawa in a wild card qualifier for the final seed in the Northern Conference.
With the playoffs now complete, the cross-over group stage begins on Thursday morning.
Group A: Dalhousie, Carleton, McGill
Group B: UNB, Acadia, Concordia

Thursday Oct 19 3:00 PM vs. Acadia
Friday Oct 20 1:00 PM vs. Concordia
Friday Oct 20 7:00 PM vs. UNB

The Ravens have never won a national baseball championship. The last time the team qualified for the tournament was in 2015 when they finished third.
